Technology and maintenance
- Odour trapThis model uses MB-ActiveTrap S with adapter 56200 (per installation manual; confirm with supplier). URIMAT's membrane trap opens under flow and closes when the flow stops. Its integrated cleaning block limits deposits, and an indicator under the clear cover shows when the trap needs replacing.
- Trap replacementURIMAT gives an average trap life of 7,000 to 8,000 uses, so replacement frequency follows traffic.
- CleaningRoutine bowl cleaning with a compatible cleaner; URIMAT recommends its pH-neutral MB-ActiveCleaner. Ask the supplier which products to avoid.
- Drain carePeriodic drain-line checks and rinsing, because urine sludge can collect without flush water.
Installation and retrofit
- Drain connectionØ 40 mm outlet (S-trap arrangement with adapter). Adapting it to existing Canadian drain-pipe sizes is confirmed on site by your plumber.
